I have been following this little girl’s story for awhile now. She is a 2 year old from Cypress, TX with neuroblastoma. Sadly, she is in her final days. I read her mom’s blog and twitter updates throughout the day, amazed by Layla’s strength, the magnitude of love from her family, and the amazing prayers and support little Layla has gotten from all over the world. I don’t know Layla’s family personally, but my heart is heavy with saddness as if she is one of my own. My friend and fellow photographer, Christie Lacy, opened her heart and photographed Layla and her family. Christie is also offering “Parties for Layla”, with proceeds to go to Layla’s family.
